Joseph P. Adubato, 80 of Titusville Florida, passed into eternal rest at home with his daughter by
his side, Monday June 6, 2022
Born in Newark, NJ he was the youngest of eight children to John M. and Emily V. Kniffin
Adubato and longtime resident of Trenton, NJ.
Joe Graduated Trenton Central High School in 1961. After which he enlisted in the US Army and
served in the 182nd battalion known as the Jayhawks during the Vietnam War.
Upon returning to civilian life he married Laura B Markee June 20,1970 and became a stepfather
to her three sons; Michael O’Malley, Robert Markee, Anthony Markee; they had two daughters
Josette Hower and Sarah Storley.
Joe and Laura were married 48 years when his beloved wife was called home by our Heavenly
Father.
Joe worked for the NJ State Treasury Department with the job title of Head Audit Account Clerk
at the time of his retirement after 25 years. In 2016 Joe and Bea retired to Florida to be near their
grandchildren Timothy and Victoria Storley.
Joseph is preceded in death by both parents and siblings, Emily, John, James, Richard, Lillian &
George; stepsons Michael and Robert. He is survived by a brother Donald and wife Fern of
Virginia and his brother Albert Markee and wife Julie of North Carolina, along with stepson Tony
and daughters Josie & Sarah all of Florida. Together they had 14 grandchildren and 22 great
grandchildren, and so many nieces and nephews whom they loved.
