John (Jack) Joseph Borowski, 78, of Merritt Island, Florida, peacefully passed into the arms of his loving Father in Heaven on February 25, 2021. John was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Army and played clarinet in the Army Band. He later became a professional musician playing clarinet, tenor and alto saxophones, and flute. Jack was self-employed throughout his life in Pennsylvania and Florida.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Dr. Susan C. Craig; his son, John J. Barron: and stepchildren Dr. Todd M. Craig (Brenda); Robin Craig Smith (Steven); Julie Craig Demaree (Andrew); Matthew C. Craig (Jill); Dr. Chad M. Craig (Julio), and Ronald Kepner, Sr. (Frannie). In addition, he is survived by thirteen grandchildren: Ronald Jr, Sarah, Megan, Katherine, Lukas, Morgan, Evan, Tanner, Jacob, Marin, Zachary, Lucas, Noah; four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Evan, Brylie and Vienna; and a niece Judi Weiss.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Josephine Borowski; and grandson, Zachary Barron.

Jack was a member of the Georgianna United Methodist Church, Merritt Island, Florida.

Jack’s family and friends will remember him for his sense of humor and music, along with his love for his family and dogs.
