Dear Joe, Even 'though I only knew Fran for a short while, I was very sad when I learned of her passing when I was at Courtenay Springs today. I had been asking about her for weeks, but no one seemed to know anything. I actually thought she was still down the hall from my husband. And then I saw the beautiful flowers in the activity room, and that is how I learned of her passing. When I met Fran a few months ago, I felt an immediate connection with her, almost like I knew her somehow. Maybe it was that we were both from Brooklyn, or maybe it was her beautiful blue eyes, or her kindness to me. I know you will miss her dearly, but I hope that happy memories will comfort you until you and Fran meet again in Heaven. May God bless you, Joe, and I am so sorry for your loss.
