Evangeline Rabaioli Stoner went to be with her Lord on April 30, 2021. She is predeceased by her parents, Gustavus F. Rabaioli and Jean Beck Rabaioli of South Ryegate, VT; her husband Charles William Stoner and her grandson Alex Paul Colmar. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Wray Kramer, Debra Susan Colmar, and Cathy Jean Greenwood; step-daughter, Jacqueline Anne Perry; grandchildren, Joel and Drew Kramer, Jason Greenwood and Katie Duncan and step-grandchildren, Corey Strader and Stacee Perry; great grandchildren, Asher, Ana, Carson Kramer, Elle Kramer, Serena, Nathan Greenwood, Morgan, Nicolas Duncan, and step great grandchildren, Demi Strader and Jaxon Beverely.

“Vannie” was born in Woodsville, NH on August 13, 1924; left New England, to return only for visits, at age 18 to attend Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. After graduation, she worked as a secretary for the Red Cross who sent her to Japan. She was sent to Clark AFB in the Philippines where she met her future husband. They were married on September 10, 1949. Her husband, “Bill”, died in 1999, 5 weeks prior to their 50th wedding anniversary. The Stoners came to Tampa in 1964 from Lima, Peru at which time Van joined Bel-Mar Presbyterian Church. She served several terms as an active Elder and worked with the Presbyterian women for many years serving as President and Circle Leader as well as other positions. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 21 years and later worked for 8 years at the MacDill AFB Pharmacare. She moved to Merritt Island in April, 2011 to be close to her daughter, Cheryl. She attended Merritt Island Presbyterian Church where she volunteered in the church office for a few years.

Her family and friends will miss her and remember her fondly with love. She has requested cremation and the ashes will be interred in the National Cemetery at Bushnell beside her husband.
