He leaves behind his wife Sandra Henriques of Ebensburg, Pa. his sister, Caridad Olivella of Titusville, Fla. and his five children: Rose M. Foss and her husband Orlando of Cocoa Beach, Dr. Ricardo Henriques, Monica Champagne and Christina Henriques all of Rockledge, Fl. He also leaves behind his much loved grandchildren James M. Ferro and his wife Fatima, Orlando W. Foss V (Randy) and his fiancée Amy, Cristina Cantees and her husband Derek, and Ricardo E. He also had six beloved great grandchildren Adam James Ferro and Maya Violet Ferro of Suntree, Fl. and Emily, Jackson and Oliver Cantees of Melbourne Fl. and Cristina Rosa Gonzalez Smith of Rockledge, Florida.
He was a charismatic and caring doctor with a large family of cousins and extended relatives and many many friends who will miss him and his unique sense of humor. But for me he was my Dad, magnanimous and always there when you needed him; quick thinking and determined no matter what.
He came from Cuba in 1961 as a pediatrician in his 30’s and redid his medical training to practice in Pennsylvania as a general practitioner until he was 91. He was 97 when he passed and will be loved and missed by his patients, his friends and especially his family. He was a force to be reckoned with and the family wishes to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the folks at Vitas and the wonderful nurses of Cape Canaveral both on the floor and at Hospice. They all made my father’s last days much more comfortable.
