Our Angel on Earth was called home to God on December 31, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer. Elizabeth (Liz) was born August 9, 1966, in Long Island, New York to Diane and Robert Baldassare. She moved to Cocoa Beach, Florida as a child and eventually met the love of her life, Dennis Gorman. They married on June 11, 1994, and had two children – Kaleigh and Dennis Gorman. Liz received a degree in Education from the University of Central Florida. She followed her passion of teaching Special Education children until November 2024. In her career she touched the lives of many children, and she referred to them as her babies.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis, daughter, Kaleigh, son, Dennis, sisters, Vicki Lockard (Bob) and Cathy Baldassare, mother-in-law, Dianne Gorman and in-laws, Maura, Sheila, Kelly, Chip, Brian, Tracy, and many nieces and nephews. Liz also leaves behind a broken-hearted, supportive group of relatives and countless friends.

Liz lit up every room she walked into. Her positive attitude and generous heart impacted each person she met. She was kind, funny, determined, and full of life. Her greatest joys and accomplishments were her love for her husband and the gift of being a mom to Kaleigh and Dennis.

Her absence will be felt by everyone who loved her. She was a blessing to every child that walked into her classroom. She was an amazing educator. She will watch over her family from Heaven and will be present in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, Liz. We will miss you every day of our lives. Until we meet again.
