Derek Julian

Derek was born at Grand Forks, AFB, ND on January 28,1978 and passed away on June 17,2026 in Melbourne, Fl. at the age of 48. He is survived by parents Charles (Kim) Julian Jr. and Elizabeth(James) Loftus, sister Lori Julian, step-sisters, Leiah Julian and Desi Julian and his son Ayden Julian( Mother Rachael Julian), daughter Ava (Mother Andrea Van Winkle) Julian. Derek lived most of his life in Melbourne graduating from Melbourne High School . He went on to manage a family business. As a young boy, Derek picked up a guitar and became a child prodigy guitarist, eventually outperforming his instructors. He played guitar in the Jazz band for Hoover Junior High and Melbourne High School . His solo performances were known to get standing ovations. Derek had a love for theme parks and roller coasters. Family outings to Disney and other parks were some of his favorite times. He loved to dote on his children, always willing to lend a hand and well- liked by all. He was like a child at heart and will be missed greatly.Funeral services are pending with interment planned at Rockledge Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, Fl.
