Debra Lynne Rosario “Deby” passed away peacefully on June 11, 2022 at the age of 61-years old.

She is survived by her Husband Luis, three children David, Shanna, and Noah, and seven grandchildren, James, Carolina, Elijah, Story, Harmony, Saylor and Ziggy.

Deby was born in Kalamazoo Michigan on October 2, 1960 to her mother Gloria Reopelle. She was one of seven children. Brothers, Gary, Doug and Carl, and sisters, Cyndy, Amy, and Ruth.

She had an adventurous childhood, living from the Middle East in Turkey, where she was the star of her high school basketball team, ending up in Central Florida upon graduating. She continued to remain focused on fitness and athletics throughout adulthood and enjoyed aerobics, karate, surfing and swimming.

Deby was passionate about teaching and earned her Master’s degree in Education and Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida. She taught at various schools, becoming Vice Principal of Holland Elementary; and only retired when her health set backs caused the need to. She continued to work from home, contributing to various coupon sites, and was very proud when she became the #2 all-time contributor for “RetailMeNot” , saving shoppers over two million dollars; a very respected achievement in that community.

She loved being Grandma or “Glamma” to her seven grandchildren and would light up each time she got to see them. Family meant EVERYTHING to her and she showered her children and grandchildren with gifts, many of which for no occasion— She just thought about them that much.

She loved her animals, especially her Chihuahua “Peanut” , who never left her side.

Deby had Multiple Sclerosis and was passionate about finding a cure, advocating for herself and her peers by contributing to many MS foundations and events.

Although her health was declining from MS, Deby did everything in her power to keep her mind and body strong. She refused to let her illness define her.
She was afraid of very little, and always remained strong, funny, and resilient.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

To those who wish to make a donation in her name in leu of flowers, we ask that you make a contribution to the National MS Society. https://www.nationalmssociety.org
