After a long illness & many courageous battles, Daniel G. Lupoli died on March 9, 2015 in Merritt Island, FL at the age of 68. He leaves behind his wife, Jude (Cosker); his daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Raymond Picard and their children Chris, Danny & Megan Hacia; Alana & AJ Picard of Windsor Locks, CT; his daughter and son-in-law Dana and Jeremy Gibson and their daughter Jacquelyn of Coventry, CT as well as his brother and sister-in-law, Tony & Pam Lupoli of Windsor, CT.

Dan was born on February 18, 1947 in Willimantic, CT to Daniel and Ann (Rayhall) Lupoli, who predeceased him. He graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1965.  After graduation he entered into the Air Force where he was stationed at Patrick Air Force Base and then Thailand.  He was a member of the 635 Security Police Squadron PACA.

Dan married his high school sweetheart on January 20, 1968. The couple lived in Bloomfield, CT where they raised their two daughters and he worked at his family’s business Woodland Moving & Warehouse.

In 1984 Dan became a commercial fisherman which relocated him and Jude to Merritt Island, FL.  In 2000 after his numerous fish stories he started a new business, Art’s Shuttle in Cocoa Beach, FL. After retirement in 2013 the “Two Old Crows” ventured into the auction business.

Dan’s passion was fishing, hunting and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dan’s life at Island Cremations at 405 South Courtenay, Merritt Island, FL on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 5-7pm with Military Honors at 6pm.

The family is grateful for the condolences but decline flowers & donations.
