There will be a memorial service held at Calvary Baptist Church of Cocoa on Friday August 2 at 2 o’clock.
Flowers or plants he loved plants peace lilies , and yellow lilies favorite color is yellow and red are welcomed ;as well as donations to Calvary Baptist Church are appreciated.

Curtis Lamar Massey peacefully went home with the Lord Jesus Christ on July 18, 2024.
Born in Fort Pierce, lifetime resident of Cocoa, Florida he was survived by wife of 35 years Diane Massey as well as his three Sons; James Christopher and family from Tampa, Florida, Jeremy Owen and family of Davie, Florida, Jamie Lee Massey and family of Cooper City, Florida.
He had four grandchildren that he dearly loved.
Along with oldest brother, Wallace Massey and wife of Greenville, South Carolina, youngest brother, John Massey of Cocoa, Florida, brother-in-law, Gary Belt and wife of Brunswick, Maryland ;
He had an extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews throughout Brevard County and Maryland.
He retired from Brinks Inc, then went to work for the City of Cocoa where he retired.
He enjoyed reading the Bible daily, being with his family and was a faithful longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church of Cocoa. He enjoyed fishing, boating, outdoor activities and going to the gun range.
He was a 19 year survivor of small cell lung cancer that succumbed him to atypical TB before his passing
He was a faithful, loving husband as well as a good father and grandfather that will be truly missed.
