Ann Cook Eldred, beloved wife, Mother, and Grandmother of Merritt Island Florida died peacefully at home Tuesday, March 14th 2023 at the age of 87.

She was a 27 year cancer survivor who always upheld her family, friends, and medical personnel. She married William J. Eldred June 2, 1957 and was a loving Christian wife of over sixty five years.

She graduated from Oneonta High School in 1953 and from Oneonta State University in 1957 with a degree in Home Economics. She was a talented cook and master of the culinary arts. No matter what, she was always there for everyone in her life. Her knowledge of sewing, cooking, cleaning and home décor was vast and unrivaled.

In times of crisis she always knew exactly what to say or do about any issue or concern that someone would have. She would listen, encourage, and always did so with love which was always of a great help in any situation. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. She was also one of the best friends anyone could have.

She expertly kept track of birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and the family finances. She was loving, generous, and kind to all, and a true lady in every sense of the word.

Ann is survived by her husband Bill, daughters Anita and Susan, grandchildren Katie, Wesley, Caroline, Amanda, Aaron, and seven great-grandchildren.
