Andrew “Andy” Yelvington III, 56, of Cocoa, FL was welcomed into heaven on June 27,2026.

Andy was born in Winter Park, FL the son of Andrew M. Yelvington, Jr and Arlene Smith.

Andy is preceded in death by his father Andrew M. Yelvington and is survived by his wife Donnella of 38 years, his children Wesley and Katelyn, his mother Arlene Smith, his siblings Cerina Bush and Adam Yelvington, uncles Larry and Joseph “Joey” Smith, aunt Joanne Westberry, niece Sabrina Yelvington, nephews Anthony Yelvington, Cody Yelvington, Justin Price, Jordan Price and Nathaniel Bush.

Andy always liked to do things with and for his family and others. He loved to cook. He loved fishing with his dad, brother and son. Andy loved to travel and hike. He enjoyed being outdoors. Andy was a kind hearted, generous man that had fulfilling careers in retail, being a first responder, and in public safety. He was a true people person, an “instant friend” and enjoyed discussing the topics of the day with anyone. His easy-going attitude and quick wit will be missed by all of us that had the pleasure of knowing him. May his memories that each of us carry live on forever.

A funeral mass to celebrate Andy’s life will be held on July 8, 2026 at 11a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church (in the chapel) 1940 Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, FL.
