CHAD KING
MERRITT ISLAND
CHAD JOHN KING – Merritt Island, Florida
Our first child – born 6-9-79 – our delight; muscian; artist; & pilot- in- training passed away peacefully 12-4-13 at the Wuestoff Hospice House. Chad is remembered with love and understanding by his parents, Bonnie & Charlie King; brother and fellow musician Chase ; Aunts & Uncles Debbie & Dave Grant ; Rick & Laurie Ezzell; Gary Ezzell; & Carol Cross; his devoted and most wonderful Grandma, Charlotte Seacord ; nieces & nephews Karen & Chris Frazier & their children Tristen, Landen & Jaiden; Bill & Tara Ezzell & their children Emory & McNeil; David & Tara Grant; and his devoted canine June Bugs.
As a muscian, Chad wrote beautiful & harmonious music. His band members in Lone Hymnal – Josh Maynard, Tim Allen & John Shade Vick played tight to the words he wrote and sang with passion. As an artist, Chad painted to express his fears, pain, hope & memories of childhood. His life as a musician/artist was a hard one as he tried to make his music real for other people. In his final months, he was able to play DJ spinning oldies on Saturday morning at WWBC.
A celebration of his life and music will be held at the Cocoa Berach Hilton, 3 pm – 5 pm, Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013. A prayer by Sister Joan and a simple spirit of gratitude will be given at 3.40 pm. Casual attire please (it’s a “Chad thing”).
If you like, donations to the Central Brevard Humane Society or Wuestoff Hospice House and their caring staff are most appreciated . Chad ‘s music lives on…. and it’s comforting to know he has touched the face of God and he is now at peace.
