Charlotte R Okken was welcomed into heaven on Saturday, September 21st, in Merritt Island, Fl at the age of 89. She was surrounded by loved ones. Born Mar. 22, 1924 in Villa Park Illinois. She was preceeded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Albert (Bud) Okken. Charlotte is survived by her 6 children, Patty Weber (Billy), Mary Ellen Capps (Bill), Helen Vislay (Joe), Wayne Okken (Linda), Billy Okken (Sheryl) and Betty Couch (Jeff). She was blessed with 23 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, known to them as “Sweet Granny”. Charlotte was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves us with many precious memories. Her smile and quick wit will be missed and talked of often. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of life with be held on Friday Sept. 27th at daughter Helen’s home, Charlottes prior residence, at 185 Moore Ave, Merritt Island at 6pm.
