William (Bill) Evans Cody of Welaka, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2018 in Palm Bay with his family by his side.  Bill was reunited in eternity with his wife of 47 years, Wilma L. (Brack) Cody.

Bill was born in Cocoa, Florida on November 19, 1934 to Loye and Winnie Cody.  As a young man, he served in the United States Army (1952-1957, SP2) with tours of duty in Korea and Japan. For the next 35 years, Bill was a local business owner and employed in numerous positions at the Kennedy Space Center. He also was a lifetime supporter of the Moose and Elks Lodges, American Legion, and VFW.  Upon retirement, Bill and Wilma spent the rest of their lives traveling the United States, spending time with family, and enjoying snowmobiling in Colorado and boating on the St. John’s River.
