On Tuesday February 4, 2020 after a short stay in hospice, Ray George Jr., age 68, quietly passed away.  Born in Ridley Park, PA, Ray grew up in the Philly area, causing mischief along the way.  He served in the Marine Corps November 1969 through February 1971.  Although Ray’s work history included being a caddie and working in construction, his career centered around helping troubled youth, beginning at Glen Mills Schools in the late 1970s, cumulating in 1990 with the founding of Normative Services Inc in Sheridan, WY with his current wife Julia.  They retired to Cocoa Beach in 2008, where Ray expressed appreciation never having to shovel snow again.  Ray’s hobbies have included golf (having earned 3 different holes in one), and more recently adopting beach cats, watching Animal Planet and offering to be the one to torture those who abuse animals, yelling at the refs on TV, and playing online sports where only the horses were hard on him.

Ray is survived by his loving family including Julia, his wife of over 31 years, daughter Kelly Belloli and her husband Mike and their four children, daughter Nicole Campbell, her five children and their father Steve, son Ray George III and his wife Tasman, and daughter Chelsea Becker and her husband Cory.  In addition, there are his sisters Linda Deaver (husband Wayne), Dawn Jones (husband Jim), brother Robert George, and many nephews, nieces, and their children.
