Mrs. Mary N. Malta, 85, of Melbourne, FL, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on Christmas day, 1927, in Dunkirk, NY and has resided in Melbourne, FL for the past 24 years.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Malta; they were an inseparable pair for more than 63 years and an inspiration to all for their commitment to each other and their family. Mary is predeceased by siblings, Leonard, Mark and Ann Speziale. Surviving family include her husband, Charles; sister, Caroline Terese; brothers, Vince and Sam Speziale; son, Larry Malta (Nancy); daughter, Mary Lou Quinn (Tom); her precious grandchildren, Scott Malta (Kim), Jamie Malta (Jennifer), Lauren Malta, Shawn Malta and Alexandra Quinn; and her sweet great-grandchildren, Miller and Easton Malta.
A memorial service and celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Friday, June 14, at the Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne, FL at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends at a luncheon following the service.
